Segerstrom High School Share by email
Segerstrom High School is a fundamental school in Santa Ana that opened in September 2005, with approximately 2450 students in grades 9-12.
Shortly after the opening of the school FCA staff Tony Gomez partnered with the teacher Mr. Mark Q. who still currently serves as the FCA campus advisor along with Mrs. A.
Several years ago, Tony hired Nadira Harrell a longtime volunteer to take over the campus ministry. She did an amazing job of ushering in the next step bible study for new believers. Since then, Nadira has moved to help launch FCA at other schools. Today Nicole Yonkers is the FCA staff who is continuing to reach coaches and athletes for Christ at Segerstrom HS. Her husband Joey has been a huge support as they both share the ministry load along with volunteer Mike De Vito.
We are grateful for the Segerstrom HS administration’s support for the FCA campus club.
Recently, A former Segerstrom FCA student leader graduated from Vanguard University and was hired on at Kid Works. A nonprofit in Santa Ana that reaches kids after school through education, community development, and sports. He shared how FCA helped build a solid foundation in Christ and birthed the desire to give back to his community.
It's so rewarding to see the fruit of the ministry. Thank you for your support.Participating Schools
